What Doctors Don’t Get to Study in Medical School Board book
Present-day medical practices are driven by science, technology and industrialism, with the cost of treatment weighted for the specialist instead of to the advantage of the patient. Dr Hegde stands up to the issue and proposes an option humanistic attitude to education and treatment.Drawing on a gigantic scope of resources from Sanskrit texts, Green and European philosophers, ancient and present-day healers, to the most forward-thinking Western exploration and publications – he has written a book that is both scholarly yet simple to read, a polemic against and an acknowledgement of the art and practice of medication, and which will interest everybody associated with medication whether students, specialists or patients.
An exquisite book that displays the fact about myths in modern medicine. Highly Recommended for the doctors who are practising and prescribing pills in the name of the medicine (to apprehend this assertion one need to understand the distinction between medicine and drugs). Recommended for the general public to investigate their doctors and for the people who still equate doctors to GOD.
This one is to be read by all who goes to doctors with no ailments including preventive health checkups. One good specialist revealed to me one ought not to go to a specialist as long as he can walk one km with no issue. Follow the tips of the book to be healthy and wealthy.
